Kuching, straddling the Sarawak River also popularly known as ‘Cat City’ is the capital of Sarawak. The island of Borneo, the third largest land-mass in the world consists of the two east Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah, Brunei and Kalimantan Indonesia. Steeped in a history that is so recent that a visitor can almost reach out and touch it! From the ‘Wild Man of Borneo’ days pre the 1840’s it has evolved into a modern vibrant metropolis we know today without neglecting the rich history held therein.

Flights to Kuching
First you will have to fly with Jetstar to Singapore and because Jetstar is only flying in the evening you can either spend the night on the airport or stay a or two night in Singapore.
