There are no rules in hash, but, there are some things you should be
aware of:
1: You hash at your own risk. The Hash Committee takes no responsibility
for you and/or your dependents/guests.
2: You are responsible for your own dog. You should control them
before, during and after the run.
3: Hashers to ensure that drivers remain within the legal limits.
Hash Trailer:
The trailer will still be stored at Hardy Aviation so hares can collect it from there. Organise the pickup time with Barbwire. Collect the kegs and ice from the Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500 as some people know it.
After the run return any usable kegs to Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500, on the Tuesday. Tuesday is emphasised so that any usable kegs can to placed in the cool room. Clean trailer and utensils and return it to Hardy Aviation.
Run 1775 – 18th September 2006
The Run:
Set by Corkboy and Furberger
A very small pack of 25 runners commenced the run from the top car park at Holmes Jungle. The run headed back to the front gate then along the fence line then back along the exit track then wind its way along different tracks to finally end up at the piss stop at the bottom turn around.
Had the potential to be a good run but by trying to be too clever stuffed up. When doing a false trail they should not put the correct trail too close. The start of the correct trail could be seen from the check and, by only walking a few paces, see the next check. Pity about that.
Score: 2.5/10

KEG BEER IS BACK so bring your handle.
$12 for drinkers and $5 for non drinkers.
This is for a trial period only to see if the kegs are financially viable. If they are not, we go back to packaged beer.
There will be no spirits or UDL’s supplied.
DOWN DOWNS & Fines:
Stakeout was choirmaster.
There was no GM or Vice GM so there was a guest appearance by the former GM KFC.
Dotcom was called up to explain her recent absence from hash. She has been learning to dance so look out for twinkle toes.
Browneye was called up for declining work because he is too busy.
Hollywood was asked to explain his dog. After some discussion he determined that the dog did start as a Doberman but he runs it so much it is down to the current size.
On a sad note everyone was asked to charge their classes and do a down down in the memory of Yorrick, Griffo and Plank. The anniversary of their passing has recently occurred.

Hash Jokes – Dotcom told a joke.
Hares – Corkboy and Furberger. Pack was asked what they though of the run. There was silence. Pack was asked about the piss stop. There were mumbles. Pack was asked about the tucker and everyone erupted into comment that is too harsh and severe for me to comment on.
Tucker – You name it you can keep it. A combination of something.
Other Matters;
It would seem that some of the people who turn up to hash after the run has started are reluctant to pay hash cash. There are no rules in hash but, pay up you bastards. Hash cash should not have to chase you for payment.
Interhash shirts – $38 see Dregs
Physio is returning to Bali on the way back from Interhash. Cheapo flights from KL to Bali - $50. He did say Singapore first off but he has now changed his mind.
Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai- Mae Kok
Tour Description
Hi all Hashers
My Hash Handle is “Gunnawhorear” and I am presently running with DarwinHHH.
My real name is Bob Suter and I have hashed in Medan, Port Moresby (Puk
Puk HHH), Oman (Jebel), Philippines (LUH3 and Angles City HHH) and ran
in Thailand on 3 hashes as a visitor including Pattaya Dirt (3 runs). I
had my base in Chiang Mai for 3 years until April 05. I have put this unique
tour together with Jimmy from Chiang Mai Blue House at 30/1 Moonmuang Road,
Soi 6, Chiang Mai. This tour is not offered by tour companies in Chiang
Mai as such. This is an all inclusive, casual day out (about a 10 hour
day) and is a must for people who haven’t experienced the friendliness
of the Thai Yuan people.
The tour is out of Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai on a 12 seater air condition
bus with an English speaking guide. We pick up at your hotel. The road
trip takes about three hours on the way up and two and a half back. On
the way to Chiang Rai there will be a stop at the hot springs for coffee,
breakfast and a bit of souvenir shopping. Then onto Chiang Rai where you
will board a long tailed boat and go up the Mae Kok river for about 40
minutes to a hill tribe village for a walk around and again, if you want,
souvenir shopping. It’s back into the long tailed boats to the National
Park for a gourmet lunch (included in the price). There is swimming and
hot springs at the park. Then into the long tailed boats to another hill
tribe village down stream. This village has three different hill tribes
as occupants. There will be a half hour elephant ride here and plenty of
opportunities to buy souvenirs. Buying souvenirs in these villages should
be about the third of the cost of Chiang Mai but you have to haggle and
know the prices from Chiang Mai. After this it is down stream again to
Chiang Rai and back to Chiang Mai by bus. Depending on time we will stop
on the way up and down for photo opportunities. Beer will be sold on the
bus for about Baht 45/can of Heineken (about AUS$1.30). The cost is Baht
2000 pp. A Power Point Show is available if required (5Meg). This tour
will be available from beginning of October to November 30 only.
The Chiang Mai Blue House is leased by two Americans who own catering
business in Hawaii and San Francisco and the food there is great (particularly
the American breakfast and their ribs). These guys do the lunch pack. If
you need to hire motor bikes or cars we recommend “Mr. Beer” and that,
no shit, is his business name. He is in Ratachawithi Road, in the old city
beside the “K” bar, which is a good little watering hole. If you need any
tour or hire arrangements please contact Jimmy.

And ON!ON! to InterHash
Gunnawhorear
Lost Property
Hash has three hash horns. Who has them? Contact the GM
and let him know where they are.
Go Boxes (the portable eskies for the kegs) – hash has three and two
have been found. Who has the other one?
Stainless steel bed pans – hash had a couple so who has them now? Bones owned up to having one there should be another.
Hash History
Dregs is looking for any hash history documents. If you have
anything lying around pass it onto her.
Hash Runs:
Thank you to those who have put their names down for future runs.
When you put your names down can you also indicate where the run will commence.
These hash sheets go on the Internet and hashers and visitors are using
the Internet to see where the runs are.
Complaints:
Use of the ‘C’ word. Would you use the word in front of your
children or your mother?? No?? Then think about the people who live
near where the circle is being held. (I do accept that in some cases
some people never had a mother so they would not understand what it means.)
We have not been harassed by police but, if we continue to use the
“C” word, we soon will and once that occurs you could probably see a breathalyzer
nearby. Hey, if we are out bush, no worries, but, in suburbia, that’s
different.
ON ON to Richardson Park.
DON’T FORGET YOUR HANDLE
Roll on Interhash so I can get rid of most of this rubbish on the news letter.
