There are no rules in hash, but, there are some things you should be
aware of:
1: You hash at your own risk. The Hash Committee takes no responsibility
for you and/or your dependents/guests.
2: You are responsible for your own dog. You should control them
before, during and after the run.
3: Hashers to ensure that drivers remain within the legal limits.
Hash Trailer: “Has been damaged.”
If you use the trailer and you damage it you repair it.
Until further notice the trailer will now be stored at 9 Clarke Crescent Rapid Creek so hares can collect it from there. Organise the pickup time with the GM. Collect the kegs and ice from the Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500 as some people know it.
After the run return any usable kegs to Darwin North RSL after 3pm, or 1500, on the Tuesday. Tuesday is emphasised so that any usable kegs can be placed in the cool room. Clean trailer and utensils and return it to 9 Clarke Crescent Rapid Creek.
Run 1783 – 13th November 2006
The Run:
Set by Toejob and Guest
The trail was set in blue tape and started from the front gate at the old dump site. From the onset, the pack knew where the run was to go as a co hare told everyone where it was going. This did not stop most of the pack from following the trail from the start but some just took the short cut. It was a slow start as the long grass in the area had not been burnt out.
At the third check it would appear that the run was sabotaged and the pack lost the trail. Those with a keen eye might have seen Toejob disappear over the hill but most spread out trying to find the trail. When Guest turned up she point the pack in the general direction the run had been set. The pack skirted the model aeroplane playing area to eventual end up on trail and back at the trailer.
Lesson learnt from this run was, no matter what discussions you have with the boys who play with their big toys, setting a run near the runway will always see your trail removed. Toejob spoke with the boys with the big toys on Sunday and they said it was ok as long as the runners stayed away from the landing strip. Obviously they do not hold their word.
Score: 2.5

DOWN DOWNS & Fines:
Stakeout was choirmaster. It is good to see someone who
knows what to do.
General was fined for pinching a hash sign then displaying it on the hash trailer. Was asked to explain either why he had blonde hair or explain what happened with the great motorbike accident. He explained the Swedish blondes have more fun so he wanted to join in. He was later fined for trying to obtain tucker before it was cooked, then was fined again for eating tucker before the GM had finished the circle. The last fine got him the bed pan.
Mango was asked to explain all the stitches he had over his body. It was a truth or fiction opportunity and we got the fiction whereby his mrs hired a bandit from the Phillipines to attack him.
Cricket was fines twice for talking. OG and Genset were fined for talking.
A talking Rhino had a session on the bed pan but gladly gave it up to the General.
Hollywood was asked to explain why his dog beat him back to the trailer. He claims that Dingo carries him.
Next Interhash is in PERTH.
Chook
3 nominees. GM, OG and General. General won it again for
his expert knowledge of art.

Other Matters;
It would seem that some of the people who turn up to hash after the run has started are reluctant to pay hash cash. There are no rules in hash but, pay up you bastards. Hash cash should not have to chase you for payment.
Lost Property
Where are the hash booze extractors? Several have gone missing.
If you have them return them to hash booze and no questions will be asked.
Complaints:
Use of the ‘C’ word. Would you use the word in front of your
children or your mother?? No?? Then think about the people who live
near where the circle is being held. (I do accept that in some cases
some people never had a mother so they would not understand what it means.)
We have not been harassed by police but, if we continue to use the
“C” word, we soon will and once that occurs you could probably see a breathalyzer
nearby. Hey, if we are out bush, no worries, but, in suburbia, that’s
different.
Use of Commonwealth land or private property for setting Hash runs.
Any hares that are contemplating setting runs that may enter onto Commonwealth land are to rethink their run. No runs are to enter onto Commonwealth property.
The same applies to private property.
If you want to use this area, then seek permission to do so. If permission is granted then all is well otherwise stay away from the area.
The next people caught trespassing will not be so lucky and they can expect to appear in court. If they do, so will the hares for setting the run through the no go areas. You may laugh and think it’s a good joke but it wont be so funny when your standing before the Magistrate.
Remember, there are no rules in Hash, but, other people do have them.
