Darwin Hash House Harriers

The Run:

Set by the outgoing Trail Master and the Assistant Trail Master.

A run that started from the sorry (Karu) park and it was a sorry run. Why did we even turn up. A larger than expected pack had to endure a shit run. I have the impression that the hares were trying to outdo the double bums from last week. But, even taking into consideration what happened at the circle, they did not beat the previous weeks score.

The run headed off in the general direction towards Maccas. It was behind the servo that Cricket tried to show people how to perform a belly flop when he almost tripped over. Hash scribe later did a barrel roll when he tripped on a speed hump. Horse must have been feeling the grog he had earlier as he almost tripped over several times whilst running through the stoney area near the creek crossing before the aerial farm.

The run ended up at the aerial farm near Richardson Park. It was then an ON ON home. This saw the pack split into two with some following the trail back and others following Dick Ward Drive.

The score. At least the run had checks. Base points for the location is -1 for telling everyone sorry park when it is described on the road maps as Karu Park. The run itself +3. No snags, bread or butter -3. Now we must consider what happened at the circle as this is part of the run. We ran out of piss -5. Pizza’s which Gunna reckons were alright +3.

DOWN DOWNS & Fines:

Cricket was choirmaster.

The hares from the previous week were called up for still having the trailer from their run. Genset spat the dummy (not as good as Saint Physio) and for her effort was awarded a well earned chook.

Gunna was called up then told to go away. At least he stopped talking for a little bit.

Cricket tells us that Blossom ran a marathon recently.

The blue heeler caused a stir on the run and Danny almost got a hash name.

Toejob was asked if the booze for the week end was on ice. He responded that the brewery had arranged it. He was politely informed that the brewery does not have a cool room so the grog is hot. Urgent plans are in place to get the booze to the Aviation Institute cool room.
