I really would love to say something about the run but I had a really nice sailor walking with me so I didn't pay too much attention. I just know there where a lot of people running and it went a little bit through bush land and crossed a trail Casuarina hash set (this trail was actually marked really well). Most of our sailing friends were virgins so we made sure a responsible Darwin hasher would always be close by. At least most of our hashers tried to keep up and we didn't do too bad mainly because we are used to the climate up here. Anyway, as I said most people found one way or another to the piss stop and the committee paid for an open bar, so we had a nice piss stop. Afterwards it was on back home to a lot more drinking and having fun.

The CIRCLE
I tried to take some notes but I was really busy taking pictures as well and so you will get just a short version. Most of our visitors were virgins and only 7-9 had run hash before. All of them got a down down and HIV did his best to entertain the group. One American woman had new shoes or at least new looking shoes, so she had to drink out of them and she did! So this virgin is a good example for a hash man! She was not sure what she was doing and I guess she already had a drink but still she was brave enough to drink and I am sure she will be famous now on the boat as there were many pictures taken! Not sure if she should send these pictures home to her family (her phone call home ..mum, did you know Australians usually drink out of their shoes..yes mum, that's normal there, no I was not drunk...). We also had two Darwin hash women returning and they got a down down too. Afterwards it was joke telling session and an attempt of song singing. One American insisted he had to name a newbie hasher. So we had a naming too. It was ice sitting plus beer over the head and his new name is now Fruit fly! Not sure what his name was before. Anyway it was a busy evening and we all enjoyed it!
