Run 1879

Run 1879 - 22. September 2008

The LOCATION

Blake street

The RUN
Set by Cricket
Sometimes you need a hash run to realize how lucky we are here in Darwin. Cricket picked a nice trail around the botanical garden, up a hill, over a bridge and back. And it was just a pleasant run marked with tape and chalk. But even than we lost four hashers but they found another way of going around the block and still looked happy afterwards. No major dramas but I must say some females are strange or at least their questions are strange. If an arrow points to the left which way would you go? Asking about it is like asking if the lift goes up when you are standing on the ground level. You feel like saying: “No it will go sideways!” ...So again if an arrow points to the left.....there is a good chance that the trails goes left!

The CIRCLE
This time is was a short and sweet circle. We started with a birthday down down (60 and 59) for Sir Willing and Saint Physio and a reminder we need more young hashers. Our American friend got a returner down down even when he just missed one run, so somebody must have missed him. GM got a fine for not cleaning the trailer (BUUUHHH) and we had one of his famous jokes afterwards. Physio was in Europe so he had to do a dip test and if you have a look at the picture you are wondering what Headjob was thinking... Guest thought she also would have to do a dip test but I couldn't understand why. Did a harriette ever do a dip test?! But I gave up wondering about women long time ago...Last but not least Cricket got his down down for being the hare.
