Run 1928

Run 1928 - 31. August 2009

The LOCATION
Marlow Lagoon

The RUN
Set by: Fatboy & Stakeout

24 Runners made their way to Palmerston which personally I think it is a great turnout and we also had a couple of navy visitors and our two Africans back and some of them were actually running. They just have to learn “on On” and “On call” for their next run. The run started shortly after 6pm and Stakeout was the leading Shepard for the walkers. The walk/run was basically around the block through the dog exercise area to a piss stop. We had the pleasure to see Stakeout mixing the drinks fresh and trying some of the Whisky in between. 15 min later all runners arrived but they didn't look too bad so the run was easy enough. It was only a short stroll back to the car park so altogether we finished 6.54pm and it was still enough light to enjoy the sandflies and mossies. Just kidding it was not too bad. It was a pleasant run and some of the runners learned how to open a gate. So a great evening...

BACK AT THE TRAILER
Well, yes we had no trailer again and just as a reminder please pick up your beer from the Pints Club if you are the hare.

THE BOOZE
VB cans and Cascade Light and some Mid whatever beer.

THE CIRCLE
We were not sure if the GM would start the Circle at all but at 7:28pm he had the great idea to finally start.

DOWN DOWNS
Mike Hill – a virgin runner with new shoes and of course he had the joy of drinking out of them. Diptests – for Furburger and our African visitor (Roxby was brave enough to sponsor a or her cup not sure) Rice Master fined Gonzo because Gonzo was unable to open up a security gate I guess this was the dog exercise area. Gonzo slammed into the gate because he never saw one before.
Goose – for talking and talking and talking

Returning Runners
– None

Visitors – Mike Hill Navy and two Africans but they will be back. And I think we had two more but I can find my notes...

Chook Fucker – Furburger – tried to give it to Genset because she wouldn't measure his size and sold him shorts which were to tide so he and Animal did a striptease and exchanged pants.

Jokes – None tonight. The Circle finished at 1948hrs

THE TUCKER Little boys, onions, cheese and bread
